About the Role

As an Accounting Coordinator, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Processing financial transactions, such as accounts payable and receivable
• Reconciling bank statements
• Maintaining general ledger accounts
• Preparing financial reports
• Assisting with month-end closing procedures
• Performing data entry and other administrative tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Process financial transactions (payments, receipts, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and identify and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain general ledger accounts by recording financial transactions.
• Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and accurate.
• Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as assigned.
• Stay up-to-date on accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to internal control procedures.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting role (freshers can also apply).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
