Position: Auditing Clerk (Remote Positions Available)
Location: Remote (All India)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team of Auditing Clerks. As an integral part of our internal controls department, you'll be responsible for reviewing a wide range of financial transactions and account activity. Your primary focus will be on identifying and rectifying errors, ensuring adherence to accounting principles, and contributing to the accuracy and reliability of SBI's financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and review financial records, including account statements, vouchers, and transaction logs.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, errors, and potential instances of fraud.
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements, customer accounts, and other financial data.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining audit findings and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date audit documentation.
- Assist with the preparation of internal control reports.
- Stay abreast of relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (preferred).
Experience:
- Prior experience in an audit or accounting role is a plus, but not mandatory. Recent graduates with a strong academic background will be considered.
