Summary

Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control procedures.
Conduct inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues.
Analyze data and generate reports to track quality metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate quality control documentation.
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to develop solutions for quality defects.
Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices in quality control.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures for assigned projects or products.
Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process work, and finished products to ensure conformance to quality specifications.
Analyze inspection data to identify trends and potential quality issues.
Prepare and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action reports.
Investigate and troubleshoot quality problems, collaborating with engineers and production teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify the root cause of quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in the quality control process.
Stay abreast of industry standards and best practices in quality control through ongoing training and professional development.
Ensure compliance with all relevant quality control regulations and standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Quality Control, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality control role (for freshers, relevant internship or project experience will be considered).
Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc., preferred).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of quality control software (a plus).

Experience

This role is open to both experienced professionals and recent graduates with a passion for quality. For experienced candidates, a minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality control role is preferred. For freshers, relevant internship or project experience in quality control will be considered.
