Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures for assigned projects or products.
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process work, and finished products to ensure conformance to quality specifications.
- Analyze inspection data to identify trends and potential quality issues.
- Prepare and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action reports.
- Investigate and troubleshoot quality problems, collaborating with engineers and production teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify the root cause of quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in the quality control process.
- Stay abreast of industry standards and best practices in quality control through ongoing training and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality control regulations and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Control, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality control role (for freshers, relevant internship or project experience will be considered).
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc., preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of quality control software (a plus).
Experience
This role is open to both experienced professionals and recent graduates with a passion for quality. For experienced candidates, a minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality control role is preferred. For freshers, relevant internship or project experience in quality control will be considered.
