Job Summary

We are searching for a highly motivated individual to join our Internal Audit team as a Senior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting independent risk-based audits across various business functions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify and report on potential risks, and make recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans aligned with the Bank's risk assessment.
• Conduct interviews, gather information, and analyze data to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Identify, evaluate, and report on control weaknesses and potential risks.
• Make clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to implement agreed-upon audit recommendations.
• Maintain a strong understanding of relevant accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulations.
• Stay current on industry best practices and emerging risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent a plus).
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in internal auditing or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal, skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong data analysis skills.
