Job Summary
As a Sales Associate, you'll be the bridge between Swiggy and exciting new restaurant partners. You'll prospect for potential restaurants, engage in persuasive communication, and ultimately convert them into successful partners on the Swiggy platform. Your responsibilities will encompass lead generation, presentations, contract negotiation, and ongoing relationship management. You'll play a crucial role in expanding Swiggy's reach and ensuring a diverse and delectable selection for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify new restaurants: Utilize various lead generation techniques to discover promising restaurant partners that align with Swiggy's vision.
- Develop strong relationships: Build rapport with restaurant owners, managers, and key decision-makers. Understand their needs and showcase how Swiggy can benefit their business.
- Compelling presentations: Craft and deliver impactful presentations that clearly communicate the value proposition of partnering with Swiggy.
- Negotiation and contract finalization: Negotiate key terms and conditions within the established framework to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Onboarding and ongoing support: Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new restaurant partners and provide ongoing support to ensure their success on the platform.
- Data analysis and reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Actively research and understand the food and beverage industry dynamics to tailor your approach and strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum graduation degree (any discipline) or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to present information persuasively and confidently.
- Proactive and results-oriented, with a strong focus on achieving targets.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software (CRM, Google Suite preferred).
- A passion for the food industry and a strong understanding of the customer experience would be a plus.
