As a Mentor at WhiteHat Jr, you'll be more than just a coding teacher; you'll be a guide, a motivator, and a friend to your students. You'll design and deliver interactive online coding classes, tailored to the individual needs and learning styles of each child. Your ability to break down complex concepts into bite-sized, engaging experiences will be key in nurturing young minds to think creatively, solve problems critically, and build their confidence in the world of technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging online coding classes covering various programming languages and concepts (Scratch, Python, etc.).
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment where every child feels empowered to explore and experiment.
  • Motivate and inspire students to overcome challenges, persevere through setbacks, and celebrate their achievements.
  • Provide personalized feedback and guidance to help students progress at their own pace.
  • Track student progress and report regularly to parents on their learning journey.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on the latest coding advancements and pedagogy.
  • Collaborate with the WhiteHat Jr team to continuously improve the curriculum and learning experience.
